Fiery chilli & crab spaghetti
Sometimes you need to make something delicious, filling, healthy and you need it quick! If that’s what you’re looking for look no further!
This recepie will take not longer than 15 minutes to make, it’s a bit of a cheat considering you are using a ready made pasta sauce. However it’s delicious and a healthy go to dish after a busy day working.
The sacla fiery chilli pesto has to be my favourite of all their pesto pots. I really wansnt expecting it to be that ‘fiery’ or full of so much flavour other than the heat.
This is one of those recipes you will run back to time and time again and the beauty of it is you can make it as versitile as you want. Feel free to replace the crabmeat with some prawns or chicken. Add more of your favourite vegetables to the sauce or opt to have it on the side. The choice is completely yours.
Hope you enjoy!
Ingredients
250g Spelt spaghetti
1 Onion
2 Cloves of garlic
150g fresh baby spinach
200g cooked Crabmeat
1stp Oil (coconut or olive oil will do)
2 pots of Sacla’ mini fiery chilli pesto
Preparation
Firstly you will need to place the spaghetti in a pan of lightly salted boiling water and allow to boil for 10 minuits.
While the spaghetti is boiling you want to start prepearing the crabmeat sauce. Slice the onions and crush the garlic cloves, then place into a heated pan with your choice of oil.
Allow the garlic and onions to sweat until they reach a lovely golden brown colour.
Once the onions are cooked, add the content of 2 pots of chilli pesto and stir for 2/3 minutes.
Then add the cooked crabmeat, a splash of water and allow it to simmer down for 5 minutes before adding the fresh baby spinch leaves.
Once the spaghetti is cooked pour the sauce in the spaghetti, stir well and serve.
Feel free to add any additional toppings, such as shaved parmigiano or fresh chillies.
