Steamed fish with mixed peppers, carrots & whole okra
Steamed fish
A very simple, healthy and hassle free recipe that is cooked in a single pan. Can be paired with steamed potatoes, boiled plantains or yam.
Ingredients
2 Whole Seabream fishes
Season the fish with:
1tsp Rock salt
1tsp Cayenne pepper
1tsp dries parsley
1tsp Garlic granules
1/2tsp Black pepper
Sauce:
150g Fresh okra
2 Bell peppers
1 Large brown onion
3 Small carrots
1 Leek
2 Whole tomatoes
3 Cloves of garlic
2-3 Stalks of spring onions
1 Cup fish stock
1tsp Black pepper
1tsp Pimento seeds
1tsp White pepper
4-5 Stalks of thyme
